Just Call Me Greg’s Place

Chancellor of The University of York, Mr Dyke, has supported the building of the ‘‘Just Call Me Greg’’ Place’ outside Vanbrugh. This will be an outdoor community space and is due to be unveiled today, in Mr Dyke’s final year at York. The Chancellor has commented on the build, saying:

Hey now. Hey. We won’t have any of that ‘Mr Dyke’ stuff. We’re all equal here, we’re all pals. I don’t want you to feel like I’m the rich chairman of the FA and you’re an indebted student. We’re all on the same playing field. Like the £798 million one at the final of the 2014 FA cup. You know? Just call me Greg. It’s Greg, ok buddy? Cool. Hip. Nice work.

The unveiling coincides with the inauguration of the new Chancellor, Sir Malcolm ‘Malcz is fine, it’s what everybody calls me’ Grant.
